MJ MICHAEL JACKSON & OUR END (Obituary)

rowing up in Lagos… years after of Michael’s greatest hit “Thriller” I cannot rid myself of the love and adoration I had for him. I remember screaming “I’m bad” to school back in 1990. Oh it hurts hearing that the “man” if you call him that is dead! Oh yes I’m black but this hurts 10 times worse than the death of Tupac Shakur. To think the man who left my generation the thought that we are the world is dead!
The truth is that in the area of eschatology and the issue of how we can live on… this is truely a great step. MJ lives on in so many lives, but it was nice for those of us in physical bodies to think we might meet him some day. If someone as wealthy and iconic as MJ could die from cardiac arrest at fifty it just makes you think of the fragility of the human being.
I don’t have kids yet, but if I ever do I am sure my kids would be raised on songs like Billy Jean, Bad & We are the world. It hurts… We should all learn that we can only live for so long and make sure we can make the maximum impact in whatever we do. MJ, all the allegations apart - you lived a good life of achievements.
Signed.
